We had Glenn on the penguins parade and he was amazing. We had Kellie on the great ocean rd tour. Did not enjoy the tour, not her fault, because of the heat and swarms of flies. Long day and anxious to get back.

These are two different tours by Bunyip. First, The Great Ocean Road Tour with Leah: This was Leah's first solo tour as a tour guide with Bunyip tours and she did a fantastic job. My wife and I were picked up at our hotel (The Treasury on Collins) and dropped off to meet our tour guide Leah and the bus for our excursion. This was an all day tour (from 7:30am until about 10pm). We drove the back roads and made several stops along the great ocean road for food (so you don't need to bring along snacks if you don't want to but note that the cost of food is not included), awesome scenic views and lookouts for photo ops, went through a national park where we saw wild koala, a lighthouse over looking the ocean where we saw wild wallaby, the 12 Apostles rock formation site, and to a gorge with a cave. We then drove back to Melbourne on the main highway where we were dropped off at our hotel. Leah was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. Depending on the time of year you go, the weather can be unpredictable, so dress accordingly (we wore puffer jackets, jeans, and sweatshirts for our trip in November). St. Philip Island tour: Chris was our tour guide for the St. Philip Island tour. He was also extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We were again picked up at our hotel (Treasury on Collins) and taken to our tour guide Chris and the bus for our excursion. This excursion is also all day (from 7:30am-11:30pm) and made stops to moonlit animal sanctuary where we had lunch ( general admission tickets and food included in the price for the tour), fed pademelons and kangaroos (animal food and additional animal experiences at your own cost), saw koalas, lizards, birds, and dingos. We then went through a couple of small towns like Cowes along the island where we stopped for dinner (at your own expense), then to the March of the penguins on Philip Island (tickets for this are included in the price). You have three ticket options: general viewing, penguin plus, and underground. I would recommend underground passes. During the penguin march, you have the opportunity to see little penguins come out of the ocean and onto the beach after feeding all day. They come out at different times during the evening, starting around 8:15pm, and continued making their journey to their burrows throughout the night. It is truly an amazing sight seeing thousands of penguins (literally) making their way up the beach. The penguins are very small and very cute. You can also walk along the boardwalk and see the penguins up close. After sundown however, you are not allowed to photograph or take video of the penguins in order to protect their eyesight which the Rangers will advise you of beforehand. Chris then dropped us off at our hotel. Again, if you are traveling in November, dress accordingly. It was quite cold, windy, and wet at night on the beach. These two tours were by far the best experiences of our week in Melbourne. We will never forget these excursions, the tour guides, and Bunyip for such an amazing time.

Our first guide was just okay but our second guide the second day was wonderful. He shared so much information about what we were seeing and the animals we were seeing. He gave us extra tips to make the entire experience even better. Would recommend this trip.

Terry is the best tour guide! This trip is super valuable and Terry was guiding us to the best place to take photos and where to find the penguins!

In total , it was a great trip. Tour started punctually at each stage and our guide Matt did a fine job to make sure everyone was taken care off. Group and tour bus ( with wifi ) was small and comfortable which was nice and it made the interaction among all our multi-national tourists from the philippines , japan, china, india & singapore a really pleasant experience. Doing the Ocean Road tour during summer I guess is better as it is quiet during winter. The Philips Island visit is a must. A beautiful experience . Great scenery all along the way. Reverse direction of the tour along the Ocean Road avoided the crowds. Overnight stay arrangement was really pleasant though the dinner could have been better. On the whole, highly recommended. Get to see most of neighboring Melbourne in two days flat. Tour was well organised with ample time to experience each spot.

Highly recommend. Our tour guide, Toby, was great. He not only knew the history of the land and told us many interesting facts and stories but he also kept us informed about the schedule, what is next on our itinerary etc. We had enough time and stops to enjoy the scenery. We first thought about renting a car and making a drive ourself but if you are from a right side driving country that is not a good idea. The road is winding and sometimes narrow and a driver would definitely miss all the beautiful views.

100% definitely recommend this trip to get the most out of the Melbourne area! Was sooo cool to see the Great Ocean Road and Twelve Apostles then to go to Phillip Island. Was awesome stopping at the Wildlife Sanctuary along the way.

The Great Ocean Road offers so many stunning views and really is a must-see when visiting Victoria. Our tour guide Jake was friendly, very funny and added lots of cool facts along the way! Phillip Island was also amazing - we saw 1,211 little blue penguins march right alongside us!! Highly recommend the Penguins Plus package for close-up views! The penguin parade was truly one of the most AMAZING things we had ever seen. Bunyip Tours were extremely organized and hotel pickups were very smooth. Bunyip also offered excellent communication via email, which was much appreciated. I would definitely recommend these tours to anyone visiting Australia!
