Fort Denison Restaurant, has announced the return this summer of Sunday Sunset Sessions from November until at least the end of January, water taxis departing Circular Quay will transport diners to the famous fortress island where a tour through the historic buildings is included.
Visitors will sit down to enjoy a two course ? la carte menu including choices such as kingfish carpaccio or lamb short ribs with pomegranate and mint and mains of crispy skin Humpty Doo Barramundi, roast Hunter Valley pork belly, Wagyu beef cheeks or Muscovy duck breasts. Diners can add indulgent desserts or selections from the superb sunset cocktail menu to accompany their experience.
As the sun sets behind the Sydney Opera House across a glittering harbour, the live entertainment commences of the foredeck of the Fort. Resident DJ and saxophonist Zak Hameiri returns, cooling down the balmy Sydney summer evenings performing his acid jazz and old school R and B in the background. Zak has featured at the Ivy and Casablanca Bar in Sydney.
